Refund & Cancellation Policy
Subscriptions are billed monthly. You can cancel any time — access continues through the end of the paid month, and you will not be charged again.
1. Billing
Each new subscription is charged at checkout for the first month at the price displayed (including any introductory or promotional offer in effect), and renews monthly at the standard recurring price thereafter. We will email you a receipt for each successful charge.
- The recurring price (currently $109 USD per month) is charged on the same calendar day each month until you cancel.
- From time to time we may offer introductory pricing or other limited-time discounts. Any such offer is disclosed at checkout and applies only as described there.
2. Cancelling
You can cancel your subscription at any time by either:
- Replying to any email or letter we send you, with the word "cancel".
- Emailing admin@papersheets.academy.
Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid month. You keep access (worksheets, marking, letters) until then. You will not be charged again. We will send a written cancellation confirmation to your email address within 2 business days; retain it as your record of the cancellation date.
3. Refunds
We do not pro-rate partial months. Once we have dispatched any deliverable for a given month — an assessment, a workbook or worksheet set, or a marking summary — the charge for that month constitutes payment for services rendered and is non-refundable, except as described in this policy or as required by applicable law. This applies regardless of whether you complete, return, or make use of what we send: it is the delivery of the material to you, not your engagement with it, that fixes the charge.
If something has gone wrong on our end — we failed to deliver a workbook you paid for, or you were double-charged — email admin@papersheets.academy and we will make it right, including a refund where that is the appropriate remedy. The next workbook follows from the completed work you send back, so we allow a buffer of up to 3 business days from when you return your previous workbook before a delivery is treated as missed. We aim to respond to all billing and refund requests within 5 business days.
As with any textbook or workbook, an occasional error may slip through. An individual mistake in a worksheet or in marking is not, on its own, grounds for a full refund — if you spot one, tell us and we will correct it. Where errors are frequent or significant enough to have undermined a meaningful portion of a month's material, we may offer a partial refund proportionate to the work affected, at our discretion.
4. Duplicate charges and billing errors
If you believe you have been charged in error or charged more than once for the same period, email us at admin@papersheets.academy within 60 days of the charge. Include the date and amount of the charge and the last four digits of your card. We will investigate and, where a billing error is confirmed, refund the incorrect amount in full within 5 business days.
5. Failed payments
If your payment method is declined, we will attempt to process it again up to two more times over the following five business days. If all attempts fail, we may pause delivery of worksheets and marking until the outstanding balance is settled. We will notify you by email each time a payment attempt fails. Settling the balance will re-activate your subscription with no change to your billing date.
Outstanding balances that remain unpaid for more than 30 days after the original due date may result in permanent cancellation of the subscription. We will not pursue collection for subscription fees that are genuinely disputed in good faith under this policy.
6. Your statutory rights
Nothing in this policy reduces any non-waivable rights you may have under the consumer protection law of your Canadian province or US state of residence, including any statutory cooling-off period that may apply to distance contracts and any rights under Magnuson-Moss or state UDAP statutes.
7. How refunds are returned
Refunds are returned to the original payment method through Stripe. Most refunds appear on your statement within 5 to 10 business days, depending on your card issuer.
8. Disputing a charge with your bank
If you have a concern about any charge, please contact us at admin@papersheets.academy before raising a dispute with your bank or card issuer. We respond to all billing inquiries within 5 business days. Resolving the matter directly is almost always faster for you and allows us to fix any genuine error on our end.
If you raise a dispute with your bank without first contacting us, we reserve the right to submit to the card network all relevant records, including: your subscription agreement, checkout confirmation, delivery logs showing worksheets dispatched to your email address, and any prior correspondence. This evidence is used solely to establish the facts of the transaction.
We may suspend access to the service during the period that an open bank dispute is pending on your account. Nothing in this section limits your legal right to raise a billing dispute with your bank if we are unable to resolve the matter to your satisfaction.
